Id just like to throw out there, that there are very few things I actually believe in. It’s a tough world to know things for sure and most of it will always continue to be based on faith, hope, and intent. One thing I can say I am not only a believer in but that remains physical proof of this world, is that change is constant. Whether you want it to or not, that is one thing that affects us all and that none of us have any control over. It will always be for the better and for the worse. There are no patterns involved, it does not entail an up or down answer, everything is always different and it will always continue that way. You just cant plan it no matter how hard you try. So regardless of your thoughts, opinions, feelings, emotions, and wishes… at some point, there will always be a change in your life. It might even happen quite frequently. In other words, just when you get used to one way, or are starting to enjoy one situation… a new one is right around the corner. So I think not adapting to your current situation, but instead adapting to change itself… you just might be better off than most people. It’s a chance to get “ahead of the game” if you will. If you are always prepared for things never being the same and always the possibility of new outcomes, new times, new standards-it just might be the key. I guess the moral of my little twisted opinion, is never think whats in front of you is all you will ever have. Also never think it is all there will ever be. Because its been proven, that’s just not true. We cant hold on to the things we love or want the most forever. Everything moves. Everything ends. Everything changes. Change is constant folks… follow it.

So we left for Lake Okojobi about 10 minutes ago from des moines. We’re looking at a good 4 hour drive ahead of us which leads to the reason im writing this blog at the moment. It’s a good time to think, talk, throw my thoughts out to the world.
Today marks 5 days in a row ive been living out of a suitcase. By Monday it will be 2 weeks. Its an odd feeling because usually I remember how much I miss home when ive been away from it for a long time. However, I just really don’t mind lately. I think im kind of in one of those stages in life where a lot of major changes are about to occur. I think within 6 months I will be in a completely different place than im in right now. Which is so strange to me because I have NEVER been in this situation. Ive never had to find a new place to call “home”. The thought has never even crossed my mind, ive lived in the same house with the same people for 21, almost 22 years now. It’s the only home I’ve ever had. So this will be a new mountain for me. I do look forward to it though, as much as staying small is easy and fun… we all need to grow at times and we do all need to mature eventually and also adapt.
Im drinking this stuff right now called “FUNCTION”. I got it at gateway market which is a natural and organic food store. Its loaded with plenty of antioxidents and ingredients that only physicians could pronounce and explain. In fact, it says on the bottle “Created By Physicians”. Either way, this particular flavor is called BRAINIAC and states it will: “Boost your memory and mental sharpness with a patented system delivered directly to the brain.” It claims I will be able to find lost car keys and think of television theme songs stuck in my head. So that’s good to know. I will let you know if I have any mental breakthroughs. I mean wouldn’t it be great, if there were drinks like this to fix all of our little problems? If that were the case, would any of you drink them?

I am drinking way too much coffee, energy drinks, pop, and caffeine lately. On top of VERY little sleep, no exercise, and not the healthiest choice of food… my body isn’t real happy with me. When I get home, im going to try to get back on my health track again. Its weird but I actually did feel a lot better mentally and physically when I was running every night and avoiding so much caffeine and terrible food all the time. So as soon as im back and the world isn’t spinning so fast… im cleaning up again.
Im going to start listing my music choice at the end of my blogs. It will usually be a song, but it might be an entire album or artist even. I listen to a lot of indie/underground music that I think a lot of people don’t know about, but that more people should. A lot of very talented musicians that aren’t as out there as they should be. I also listen to a lot of mainstream stuff as well and most of it gets a bad rep and isn’t necessarily worth kicking to the side. I always enjoy discovering new music and I love when I find new material to fall in love with so I encourage it. Maybe you will too. So if you don’t dig it…don’t. But if you do, You’re Welcome!

Its already been a long week for Mr. Jordan. This is a mobile update from road of interstate 80. Im currently riding to Des Moines with some coworkers for an event we are all working at tonight. Then tomorrow we all head to Lake Okoboji, stay the night, hit up our next event bright and early and then more filming all weekend in Des Moines. I tell ya, little Jordan can't get a break lately. Im trying to cut back on caffeine, but by the end of this week.. I think it will still remain my new best friend! Ill update you more and perhaps throw up some pictures later tonight when I get to the apartment. For now though, its back to the open road. See ya folks!

Its 1:23pm and im sitting here in the studio at work waiting to start shooting. It feels like its about 7pm though. Stayed up til 4am last night playing Mario Kart Wii with Jake. Then had to be up at 8am to leave by 9 to make it to work back here in Burlington by noon. Lots of Starbucks and Red Bulls later, im sitting here just kind of zoning out with a head full of balloons. I havent shaved in about a week, so tired, and cant wait to get some sleep in my own bed. Ive been sleeping on a futon the past couple of nights that happens to have an inconvenient metal pole down the middle. Totally worth it, but sleeping in my own bed tonight will be nice!
I had a real good weekend in Des Moines. Celebrated 4th of July with Ivy and Jake, saw some fireworks, took a lot of pictures, rode on a carousel, and played more wii than most individuals should. The thought of me moving up there becomes more and more convincing by the day. So maybe ill go for it one of these days. Finally hop out of Burlington for once.
We're making little Salmon Kazu burgers today and they look delicious. We're getting underway now so i better get back to work. Have a nice little Sunday everyone. Enjoy the beautiful weather!

Woke up at 8am this morning after a struggling 4 hours of sleep. Worked all day trying to finish up several projects with deadlines. Then hit the road and drove to Des Moines. Made it safe and sound around 7:30. Went to a symphony and fireworks show downtown with Ivy and Jake. Took some pictures, filmed a bit. Came back to the apartment and played Wii all night. Its 2:00am and i am exhausted. Running on fumes here so im hitting the bed. However, this weekend should be very fun and a blog will most likely form from it. This is only the beginning though, a lot happening the next 7 days for me. For now though, I got knives in my eyes... good night folks!

Thank you for the people continuing to go to the site everyday and patiently checking back and forth for new things. Im sorry im not as dedicated as i used to be, ive been a busy guy and work takes up most of my time. I do have a lot of intentions still, to do a huge update soon and upload a bunch of things ive been working on/wanting to do. Just trying to find the time.
I might start blogging some more soon. Ill be going to Lake Okoboji next weekend for work. Ive never been there before so i look forward to that. It is however, a 6 hour drive and a couple lonely hotel stay nights so im sure ill have something on my mind. Maybe there will be a few randoms out there who might want to hear what i have to say. Until then, im off to bed. Ill be back soooon!
