Yes Yes I know...where the eff is all this new stuff you talk about jordan? hmm??? well to be honest, with my busy schedule now days, i did leak the word of these several new projects a little too soon. but- i assure you work is being made on everything and if all goes according to plan, some of the best stuff ive ever done will be hitting the site soon. Im also going to put up a couple videos from my personal portfolio that no one has ever seen, a dvd menu i did for my sister's engagement video which im quite proud of and then some dvd menus and things ive been doing for my new job. so please be patient with me and we'll all be fulfilled with surprises soon!

In other news...i got my hairs all chopped up today. With the way my life is operating these days, i decided it would be better for me to look more classy than trashy. For the sake of not being mistaken as a homeless bum, same reason i shaved my goatee. you understand, so say good bye jordan's 6 inches of hair!

So this weekend has been feelin just like the old days and ive loved every second of it. Friday morning i woke up at an early 8am, got ready, and hit the road. I drove to Cedar Rapids to pick up my aunt and cousin at the airport. I hadnt seen my cousin for quite a few years, and hanging out with my aunt Tori is Always a pleasure. Tori lives in Washington, DC and is the reason THE DISTRICT AND BACK is possible to this day.

After arriving back in town, i went into work down at Martinis with the Food Guru himself. We filmed for his new video cookbook DVD series we'll release in September. It took all day and we finished up around 9:00pm. At this time, my mom had called to let me know everyone was down at Steamboat Days...so she came and got me and we headed down there for about a half hour before i realized i just couldnt take it anymore. SBD is at its absolute highest trash level this year and couldnt be any grosser if our town let it. The smell, the feeling, the vibe, the people, it was so ridiculous and disgusting. We split.

The next day...big bad Ivy Walker rolled into town which was real exciting, I hadnt seen her since The Album Leaf in Iowa City. This time we didnt really have anything going on that we needed to worry about, so we got to hang out and have alot more fun this time around. We went out to our family reunion that had been planned awhile, it was unbearably hot and sticky and there were several people ive never met in my life that are apparently related to me? So we left that giving me just enough time to go home and get ready to go to work at the hawkeye. I struggled through the night with no red bull or food, made it home around 3:30am and got a badass amount of sleep.

The last day, Sunday we spent just kinda taking it easy and relaxing all day. Just like Ivy and I's summer 2006, there was swimming, sun, laying out, and more laughter than i think ive ever heard from her. I showed her alot of video projects i have in the works and she was really impressed and cant wait for the finished product, which i cant wait to get up on here either. Right now we are driving to Des Moines as we speak. Monday night Ivy and my mom will be attending the John Mayer concert at Wells Fargo arena and i will be seeing and hanging out with my good friends from New Jersey: "Makeout Party". I might be filming some things for them, otherwise...just rocking out all night and then hanging with Mom, Ivy, and Jake the rest of the time. Tori doesnt leave til Friday, so i look forward to the rest of the week. We are almost in Des Moines and are going to stop at SONIC to get some food...more blogging, pictures, videos, beauty, and life to add soon. Straight from I-80, signing off...

So things have been going so good for me lately. Ive been really busy, alot of great things are happening for me, and ive been totally loving life!

I recently got a job working for an amazing chef here in town known as: Peter Harman, "THE FOOD GURU". Definately check his site out, for pretty soon ill be editing and updating almost all the visual content on there including videos, pictures, podcasts, parts of the site, etc. The job is really great, im just kind of one on one with the guy, we film everything in his downtown loft studio in Burlington, with the best view in town. I get to eat ammmazing food hand prepared by this genius himself and just kind of hang out. We're going to start a series of video cookbooks and market them all over. So ive been taking a ride on my high horse for awhile, and im really enjoying it. I hope things continue to look up for me, boy do i need it. Ive got quite the week ahead of me...i cant wait.

Wow for the first time on this site, i have been slacking! Which in this case its actually a good thing. Ive been working a lot lately which is a large cause of the non update situation. Ive been working a weekday here and there down at 'The Hawkeye' and doing some random video projects for family and friends. Landon and I, in association with 'Progression Pictures' have been working out a really fun deal that could put me at a full time job soon which im really excited about.

The weather has been super nice lately, so ive been outside alot enjoying that and filming for my newest visual montage that i think will be something you might really really enjoy, or at least your eyes will. Its called 'Remind us why we're free'. I will update the ideation tab soon and add some more info on this brilliant masterpiece in the making.

Other than that i just really need to find some more free time and get going on things i promise. I have soo many ideas lately and so many things i can be working on, that now its just hard to fit them all in. Overall, life is pretty good lately. I think im doing okay...

Im going completely crazy racking my brain over this film i want to make this summer with Lucas and a few other friends. It really is overloading my head, im thinking way too much but im kind of addicted to it, and i just dont want to stop. i really hope it all works out soon.

in other news, i plan on adding more things again...ive had to take the past couple days off for work, writer's block, getting our small 4 foot inflatable pool ready for summer, and just trying to enjoy the sun a little. i plan on adding some things to the words section soon, i got a couple more opinions to add and slowly but surely im still trucking away at a few more videos i plan on throwing up. i got a 3rd des moines video blog coming, a video from landon and i's pre tour chicago trip, the seattle film of course, etc. etc. its a never ending story...and im writing it. i call it: my life.
