So the season 3 finale of 'HOUSE md' aired tonight. It still remains one of the best medical tv drama series, but also just one of the best overall sitcoms to air on FOX period, especially compared to half the bullshit airing now that the season is over. ugh, not looking forward to the next few months of television. However, definately couldnt top the 2nd season finale, that one just blew me away...but this was still a great season finale none the less. There were some decisions and turnouts that i wasnt real stoked on or happy about. however, that just leaves me wondering for season 4. If you havent gotten into HOUSE yet, and maybe its not your fancy...but i suggest you get on the dvds and catch up for the new season!

So last night i met my sister @ The Picador in Iowa City for 'The Lymbyc Systym' and 'The Album Leaf'. It was the first show i had ever been to with my sister and it was also one of the more mellow shows ive been to which i loved. It was nice to stand there and just enjoy the music for once without worrying about crazy people or rocking out, etc.

I will say (TLS) would have been much more enjoyable had the levels been better. They were 95% MIDI and Electronic so everything was turned up wayyy too very loud. It was to the point where all you hear in your ears is a distorted ringing, and no one enjoys that much. However, they played very well and it was great to see a smaller good band like that before they get big or stop playing around here.

(TAL) on the other hand...were aboslutely Phenominal! Though its mostly instrumental, i swore i was listening to the CD. An enhanced better version of the CD that is. It was just one of those shows where you kinda get in a trance and really feel the music, there was a really inspirational vibe in the air the whole night. They are just such brilliant musicians and you can really tell they feel their music and love what they're doing.

I was honored to be able to enjoy this front and center 6 feet from the band. Then afterwards we got to talk with Matt Resovich (Violin, Guitar, Vocals) which was a real sweet experience as well. Totally chill, good overall guy. So needless to say, we had a great time and it was good seeing my sister after our few month hiatus.

I filmed the entire Album Leaf set and im really really happy with how the footage looks. It was a thrill to be able to take part in that. I will upload one or two of the performances in the next few days. Until next time...take care everyone.

So it felt like i hadnt worked in about a month tonight. last saturday i requested off for the minus the bear show...and i only work saturday nights so i guess thats why it felt so long. i quickly got back into the groove, however tonight sucked. ended up working way longer than usual and im exhausted.

i hit up my cousin's graduation party tonight, saw a couple old familiar faces...it was a nice little gathering. congrats to him. all these kids, they're all grown up now. its crazy. its like time kinda stopped for me a few years ago...but it keeps on rolling for everyone else.

ive been making some serious progress on the seattle documentary. i hope to possibly finish it by the end of the week. its looking really good, get stoked! for now though, i need some sleep. im beat. check out this picture of me from awhile ago, rocking to the ipod and preparing some dvds. night gang.

Tonight could very well make tv sitcom history. its the season 3 finale of Nbc's THE OFFICE. i am sooo stoked! ive followed this show episode for episode since day one. tonight has got me on the edge of my seat...tune in everyone! NBC, 7:00 central time.

In other news, my eyes and ears have become very excited once again! Next monday ill be heading up to Iowa City with my sister Ivy for the album leaf and lymbyc systym! I have wanted to see The Album Leaf for the past 4 years and recently fell in love with the lymbyc systym as well...complete 2 birds with 1 stone situation.

words just cannot describe it. not my words anyway. sweet beans was this an extraordinary event, and night! i highly suggest if the opportunity arises, to see these machines perform live in action- definitely take it! landon and i both agreed we have never seen anyone play and pull off the guitar work dave can do. along with the monster on the drums and the vocals completely cloning the CD sound vibe. it was without a doubt one of the best shows i have ever been to. minus the bear, thank you. you made my night and probably several other 300+ kids. new things soon. for now though...ZzZzZz

Yes. Yes. I can finaly take a deep breath again, as it feels like much weight has been lifted off my shoulders. As you can see to the right, the cru dvd is officially finalized, mastered, sent off, and going through stages of print production as i type this! it feels so great to have completed such a large product that myself and all the guys are proud of and that i now get to share with all of you that are interested. i really think you will enjoy it alot. we all put so much into it.

also, my busy work schedule has finally sifted back to its original self for now. no more odd jobs and unplanned schedules. however, due to my last week's constant hectic spree...i saved up enough money to buy something i have been longing/needing for a long time. a verrry nice laptop workstation! ill be able to do everything i do here... quicker, easier, and on the road if i choose. this thing is a little badass and i couldnt be anymore stoked for it. totally worth a week or two of hard work! and for all the gurus (like myself) out there:

its 4:46am, got home from work not too long ago, the birds are chirpin, the sun is attempting at peaking out and i love it. the next hour is my favorite time of day. Dont worry, no fires or anything like that after work tonight..haha

however, tonight was equally as sweet. after we got done and were getting ready to leave work...i remembered i had my skateboard in my car, so a guy i work with (thomas) and myself decided to skate around for a little bit. thomas had the idea of skating in the back of our warehouse. by far the best idea we've had at work so far. all the other guys left, and we had the whole back warehouse to ourselves...and it ruled. we ripped back there for a good 45 minutes, totally worth it. we will probably be doing the same thing next week and we talked about filming some of it, so maybe ill have a nice late night skate session video blog!

other than that, things are pretty steady. still stoked for the release of the cru dvd. as well as minus the bear annnd the album leaf this month. more than anything, i was completely pleased to see that at the end of its first week being online, Aesthetic Deviance has received over 1500 hits! ranging from 150-300 a day! thank you guys so much for checking it out and spreading the word. it was certainly a surprise, i really appreciate it. time for jordan to knock out a few ZZZZZ's. until next time...

has been one of the strangest weeks, i think ive ever had! as soon as ideation is finished, i will be able to post the huge long story of what i have gone through the past couple of days, I will say though, for the first time in my life i have:

met a special ATF agent
gave consent for officers and agents to search my house
been read my rights
been interrogated
been a possible suspect for arson
had things confiscated from me

all of the confusion is over now and they have caught the real culprit, but it was a mess for a few days there and my nerves are becoming quite worn out.

a better, brighter note, i have spent the past week finishing up, last minute editing, and designing a few things for the Cru Jones DVD/CD Release which is scheduled to get out May 26th. Pressing and Distribution begins this weekend, so we are all VERY excited about this much anticipated project. The DVDs will be sold at this years "Greenwood Stock" in Greenwood, Delaware. So if you are going to attend that, be sure to pick up your copy there, otherwise they will be available on the Cru Jones myspace, the MAKE Collective myspace, Progression Pictures myspace, as well as our personal and regular web-sites.
