Hey everyone, the new promo video is up for "The Receiving End of Sirens" sophomore release album - 'The Earth Sings Mi Fa Mi'. A couple weeks back Lucas, Landon, and myself hit a few dates with them, did some live video, interviews, etc. and i put together a promo piece to help out the release of the record. So Lucas and I have gotten back into the bike riding scheme. The bike riding adventures were concluded last, when my sweet ass Schwinn bicycle was stolen in broad daylight from my garage. After never being found...i went into retirement. Well now i am back, riding, again. In the form of a turquoise girls mountain bike. Courtesy of my mom. THATS RIGHT! So i have decided that each of these biking adventures Lucas and I go on should be documented either be in the form of words, photographs, or if your lucky-video. Tonight's installment is a funny clip of myself, with a brilliant idea of knocking over a completely full Coca Cola filled 32 oz. drink cup. Due to the amount of fluid in it...clearly exceeding it's capacity, it back fired. This was the result:
The past couple days with Receiving End of Sirens ruled...cant wait to put the video together. Its something i think all will enjoy very much. Tired as shit, im hittin the bed. Well as of right now...ive been awake just over 36 hours. My body has finally decided its shutting down on its own so ill get this out quick. Met up with "THE RECEIVING END OF SIRENS" in Iowa City last night to record some footage and talk about doing a promo video for their new album, great group of guys. had good fun watching them rock out. Stayed up all night straight finishing some dvd menu work for martini's, was there all day taking pictures for a channel 6 news report they're doing on my boss. Im actually in the story and will be on "PAULA SANDS LIVE" in a few weeks so that was an exciting day, and it continues tomorrow. I wake up.. Landon, Lucas and myself all go to Des Moines for some interviews and more live taping of T.R.E.O.S and just a nice Friday afternoon hanging out. Ill get to see my sister and Jake again, so more power to me. Ive completely rearranged my studio, work is starting to slow down, and im starting to settle down myself. So hopefully i get going on things i want to show all you people. Just had to give a quick update! Signing off, THE INSOMNIAC HIMSELF...
